Close up view of a bird any Floridian is familiar with. They are common enough here that they are often seen as part of the background, rather than the striking birds that they are. The photograph is of a White Ibis with beak tucked in partially under its wing. The White Ibis is a white bird with a long curved bright orange beak and light blue eyes.

I like the attention to detail as well as the depth of field used in this shot. The close-up works great, too. You can almost feel the character if the little guy coming through the pixels
